Come build your future with us! About the Role The Superintendent – Construction will work closely with the Project Team to develop and maintain the Baseline Construction Schedule. This role involves coordinating and overseeing onsite work of all Trade Partners, managing Union-related labor relations, and ensuring construction quality meets or exceeds company standards. The Superintendent will also function as a liaison between the Project Management Team and onsite field operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and contract requirements. What You’ll Do Below is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus. Construction Scheduling and Coordination Develop and maintain schedules, review progress, and update weekly. Onsite Management and Labor Relations Oversee onsite work, manage labor relations, and mentor the team. Quality Assurance and Compliance Ensure construction quality and compliance with standards and codes. Site Logistics and Safety Prepare logistics plans, ensure safety training, and enforce safety policies. Documentation and Financials Maintain construction documents, review contracts, and approve logs. Communication and Meetings Liaise between teams and facilitate meetings. What You’ll Need Education and Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Valid Driver’s License required. OSHA 30-hour certification required. Local and/or State certification required, as needed. CPR/First Aid certification required. Experience 3-5 years of Superintendent construction experience required. Proven experience in managing onsite construction activities and labor relations. Multi-family construction experience preferred. Skills and Competencies Strong project management and organizational skills. Advanced knowledge and understanding of construction documents, drawings and specifications, construction means, methods and materials. Advanced computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Bluebeam. Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills combined with excellent attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication. Ability to follow complex oral and written instruction. Utilizes strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Excellent ability to interact and communicate effectively within the organization, as well as with Trade Partners, (i.e., Subcontractors, Consultants, and Inspectors, etc.) and all associates on the project site. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance programs. Ability to work flexible hours. Reliable transportation for travel to multiple project sites, as needed. Join Our Team! Estimated Rate of Pay:
$122,225.65 – $158,893.35 This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual salary. The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity•. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
