Builtech is currently seeking a Construction Superintendent candidate with Multi-Family experience to take ownership of and lead successful projects for our clients. Requiring self-sufficient team players ready to accept responsibility for sequencing and scheduling all aspects of a project driving the goal of on time delivery. Our best superintendents are strong leaders with high standards and a drive for excellence. They keep subcontractors informed of schedule and hold them accountable to scope and duration as agreed to within the contract. The Superintendent position is crucial to the overall success of Builtech projects.

Responsibilities:

Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with owners, client representatives, other contractors, etc. Implement and enforce on-site safety program to maintain a safe jobsite per the requirements of the Builtech Safety Plan Develop and manage project schedules. Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and ensure overall contractual performance. Provide technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc. Implement and maintain tight quality control issues Assist project management in developing and implementing project procedures, management tools, standards, etc. Review submittals for compliance with contract requirements. Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety rules, company policies, etc. Document all violations, notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required. Review change order requests prior to submittal to owners. Perform additional assignments per Supervisor’s direction.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a field supervision role Embrace and fully protect our Core Values – Trust, Integrity, Humility, Respect, Passion and Courage Proficiency in the following software systems: MS Office (including Excel and Project) and Procore Skills including self-awareness, positivity, assertiveness, delegation, negotiation and organization Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and push and/or pull 40-pound loads at the same time Must be able to stand, walk and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing up to 40 pounds Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, or stretching Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel when necessary Builtech Services, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
