SUPERINTENDENT POSITION

(TRAVELING)

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Reports to the Project Manager – Project locations are subject to change Supervision of field labor; including, subcontractors and other construction personnel. Supervision of the construction in accordance with design, budget, quality, and schedule. Responsible for the administration of the project safety program and for the safe execution of all activities. Assist with providing technical assistance (interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc.) as required. Inspection of Subcontractor operations to ensure compliance with Contract. Review and approve Subcontractor Payment Applications with Project Manager. Assist in the development of the site logistics plan. Monitor time and material costs. Communicate and enforce The Henderson Constructors Inc. Safety Program. Manage overall project schedule and look ahead, to ensure all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates. Prepare and submit daily manpower reports.

Job Skills and abilities:

Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, and Procore. Strong communication skills are required Must be able to read drawings and specifications Must have good decision making/problem solving skills Calm but firm demeanor, and strong negotiating skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years supervisory or equivalent experience in the Construction Management Field. Current 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health certification is desired. First Aid/CPR certification

$85,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
