Company:
  • Attend pre-con for review of prints, scopes of work, paperwork, contracts, and job schedule with Project Manager & Estimator before start of job.
  • Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
  • Verify we have contacted O.U.P.S. and all other required entities that need project notification.
  • Verify subcontractors have correct and up-to-date prints, specifications, and addenda before starting work.
  • Ensure timely completion of project by assisting with the scheduling of subcontractors and suppliers and communicating with the foreman.
  • Schedule rental equipment needed for delivery and pick-up.
  • Verify the correct materials are used by subcontractors in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • Verify foreman is entering receipt of all materials delivered and match to packing slip, order list, and plans and specs.
  • Provide daily progress photos as required for proper documentation of activities.
  • Ensure that adequate manpower and equipment is on site.
  • Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies.
  • Provide on-site coordination of manpower, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
  • Verify all work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and contracts.
  • Verify that all dumpsters, Porta Potties, trailers and other rented equipment are returned at project completion.
  • Monitor cost control and job costing, quantity reporting, forecasting and productivity.
  • Monitor job site and subcontractors to maintain a safe and clean job site on a regular basis. Ensure that all trades follow safety and OSHA guidelines.
  • Verify safety meetings are being held at least weekly.
  • Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.
  • Coordinate all Change Orders with foremanproject manager.
  • Assist in creating and ensure punch list items are completed.
  • Assist estimating team with inquiries job scope of work or productivity.
  • Work with shop/office on rental equipment and equipment moves.

Willing to work and travel to various job sites in Mississippi, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky Fulltime Responsibilities mentioned above are for reference – as a part of the Eclipse Companies’ team, additional responsibilities may be assigned to cover an immediate or permanent need.

Background Profile:
  • Safety experience in civil construction projects a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence all stakeholders including colleagues, internal executives, and client representatives
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Strong written, verbal communication, and collaboration
  • Experience with HCSS Software is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 is a plus
  • First Aid
CPR, AED

Training is a plus

  • Ability to travel throughout the country ~30%
