The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and finishing, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth and professional appearance. This role requires proficiency in various techniques and tools used in the drywall finishing process. Responsibilities Apply tape, mud, and other materials to seams and joints of drywall to create a smooth finish. Sand and polish finished surfaces to meet quality standards. Install drywall sheets according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and layout. Perform caulking around fixtures, trim carpentry, and frame carpentry as needed. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration. Adhere to safety protocols while working with tools and materials. Experience Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role in the restoration industry is preferred. Proficiency in drywall techniques, including plastering, caulking, and fixture installation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong skills in trim carpentry and frame carpentry are advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
