We are looking for an Installation Helper to work as part of a team on residential generator installations in the local area. This company is locally owned and operated, with experienced and factory-trained professionals who are committed to each customer. Licensed in electrical and mechanical contracting, our team offers turn-key installations, periodic maintenance, services, and warranty repairs on Generac generators for our clients. What you’ll do: Work as part of a 3-5 person team to provide support in multiple areas of a residential generator installation (can include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.) Pour concrete slabs for generator placement, trench, feed conduit, load and unload equipment while under supervision and guidance Operate basic hand and power tools while working in various weather conditions Pre and post-installation clean up of equipment, debris, vegetation, and obstacles Involves local travel within greater Baton Rouge area, typically 1 installation per day What you’ll bring: Hands-on experience in construction, concrete, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC Basic knowledge of residential generator installations Basic set of tools, but can be accumulated over time Valid driver’s license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside •This job is with an independent Generac dealer and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.
