This is ahands-on field role for someone who isn’t afraid to tackleeverything from transformer and generator work to electricalutility testing and relay troubleshooting. You’ll be working on awide variety of electrical systems in industrial and utilityenvironments, with travel assignments that never exceed 3-4 weeksat a time. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals whothrive in diverse environments, are confident working with criticalutility systems, and enjoy traveling across the southern region ofthe U.S. The ideal candidate will have a background in low voltagecircuit testing, PLC panel work, breaker and relay diagnostics, andtransformer power testing (up to 500kV). You’ll be the boots on theground, servicing industrial, commercial, and institutional clientswith professionalism and technical accuracy. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive electrical testing and troubleshooting on lowvoltage systems, transformers, and electrical protection equipment.

Conduct breaker, relay, wafer resistance, and power transformertesting using industry-standard tools and procedures. Install andtest PLC control panels and associated components. Interprettechnical diagrams, schematics, and reports to diagnose electricalissues. Apply and demonstrate understanding of Ohm’s Law andrelated electrical theory in real-world scenarios. Travel for fieldassignments (3-4 weeks at a time); majority of jobs located inTexas, but occasional travel across Arkansas, Louisiana, andOklahoma. Ensure full compliance with company, client, and OSHAsafety standards. Accurately document and report test results andservice summaries through digital platforms (Microsoft Word, Excel,Outlook). Serve as a reliable and customer-facing representative ofthe company at client sites. Collaborate with internal teams tocommunicate site conditions, escalate issues, and ensure projectsuccess. Qualifications NETA certification (Required) High Schooldiploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education inelectrical or mechanical fields preferred. State CertifiedJourneyman license is a strong asset. Solid understanding of lowvoltage electrical systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC).Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required foruse of company vehicle). Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in avariety of weather and site conditions. Willingness to travelextensively and stay on-site for multi-week assignments. Strongattention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a positive,team-oriented attitude. Proficiency in mobile applications, reportwriting, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
