Hired Hand Durable Transport Inc Lockport, NY 14094 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hired Hand to join our team in a fast paced construction environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic with great situational awareness. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to assist in the completion of construction/demolition projects. Responsibilities Take direction from immediate supervisor for the daily tasks. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks. Collaborate with team members on the jobsite to ensure efficient workflow. Assist in equipment yard operations, including inventory management and material handling. Work outside in all elements. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Capacity to take initiative for tasks on the job. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for various tasks. Ability to work effectively around construction equipment. Skid steer experience is preferred but not required; training may be provided. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Expertise towing a trailer with pickup truck preferred.
