is seeking a passionate and innovative Electrical Technology Teacher to join our team and support our Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Career Studies (CS) programs for students. This position offers a unique opportunity to integrate Electrical techniques with real-world applications, delivering effective instruction and support in CTE curricular areas preparing students for successful careers in diverse fields. Responsibilities Successful candidates will actively engage and prepare students to succeed in the profession of Electrical Services and Repair. Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students and which is compatible with area job market needs. Assesses the progress of students on a regular basis and maintains organized up-to-date records of each student’s progress. Maintains appropriate classroom order and adequate student supervision; implements all policies governing student conduct; assists in supervision of students throughout the building and on student grounds.

Qualifications:

Must possess, or be willing to pursue, a NYS teaching certification through the Transitional Certification process in Electrical Repair. Two years of occupational experience or hold an industry-related credential. Excellent working knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory and related mathematics. Understanding of both residential and commercial wiring methods.
