The Electrical Estimator will play a crucial role in our construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates for electrical installations. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes, with a focus on multifamily and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities
Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate electrical cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and requirements for electrical work.
Prepare and submit bids for electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or client feedback.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an electrical estimator in construction environments.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and codes.
Experience with multifamily and commercial projects preferred.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
