Job Description:
We are seeking for Construction Cost Estimator that can immediately add value to the department. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for helping Planning, Design & Construction keep our project budgets on track. Your professional analysis of project plans will help you make sound financial decisions by aiding in the hiring process and with bidding on materials and resources specific to each project. Your role will include working side-by-side with engineers, contractors, architects, and clients. Throughout the course of the project, you will continue to evaluate all aspects and recommend budget adjustments as needed or correct problems that may be associated with product assembly, shipping delays or wasted material.
Job Requirements:
5+/- years of experience.
Relevant Construction Estimating experience including conceptual budgeting.
Extensive knowledge of industry practices, procedures, and market trends.
Proficient with commercial estimating software such as: MC2, Timberline/SageCRE, QuickBid, On-Screen
Excellent leadership, personable, communication, and written skills.
Ability to interact, develop, and maintain a positive professional relationship with all levels of personnel.
Meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Review basic software generated estimates for completion and technical accuracy ensuring quality and integrity.
