What you will be doing:

Responsible for developing cost estimates and preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of estimates on projects as required by client’s documents. Reviews construction documents and understands scope of work to bid Executes take-offs of construction documents Obtains pricing for materials Obtains bids from subcontractors Properly evaluates and scope materials, vendors, and subcontractors for compliance with bidding documents Prepares cost analysis by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead cost Maintain documents and plans What you need for this position: 3+ years of HVAC/Plumbing estimating experience in commercial work Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret drawings – architectural, structural, and mechanical plans and be familiar with a variety of HVAC systems and terminology Proficient in Microsoft Office products QuickPen experience helpful Have strong organizational and analytical skills Self-motivated; possess a sense of urgency in completing assignments Takes pride in work and accepts a level of responsibility for professionalism and accuracy Consistently set goals and meet deadlines Ready to join the team?
