This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their careers and gain valuable experience in a professional environment. The Recent Graduate will have the opportunity to learn how to estimate and quote projects for the design, manufacturing, and distribution of lighting fixtures. Duties Effectively read and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings Conduct a detailed takeoff of lighting fixtures and controls as shown on the drawings Read and check lighting specifications to insure they are in sync with layout and application on drawings Interact with clients if inconsistencies in specifications are discovered Estimate lighting changes for bulletins/addendums on projects in progress Prepare bid packages based on customer’s bill of material Collaborate with management/sales team on proposals Qualifications Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Project Management, or related field Any experience with Estimating/Takeoffs is a plus Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
