Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Jr Estimator to join our team. This in-person position will support our estimating department by performing quantity take-offs, assisting with bid preparation, coordinating with subcontractors, and organizing project documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and construction drawings Assist in preparing cost estimates for a variety of projects Organize and manage bid documents and project files Solicit and track subcontractor and vendor pricing Communicate with project teams to ensure accurate bids Maintain bid schedules, deadlines, and submissions Support the development of pricing databases and estimating templates
Qualifications:
3-5 years of construction-related experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with estimating or take-off software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam) a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and with a team Highly motivated and eager to learn
