FLOORING
ESTIMATOR
Primary responsibility of the Estimator is to assist the Order Processing department with estimating of flooring for accurate order of materials to meeting deadlines and scheduling plans. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of estimating, bidding, & proposal experience.
Job Duties:
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency Estimate floor covering on projects Define the scope of work and work closely with sales staff to bid projects
Additional Requirements:
Floor covering or construction experience/knowledge preferred Ability to negotiate product and labor to meet deadlines Knowledge of architectural plans and all types of flooring materials as well as the installation process preferred Strong mathematical skills Driven by challenges, highly motivated with an ability to effectively self-manage time properly and prioritize multiple responsibilities Excellent communication skills, thrive on face to face interaction, with a proven track record exceptional customer service capacity Attention to detail and ability to see those details through the scope of the job Reliable and predictable work attendance is an essential function of the job
