Responsibilities:

Receiving the work and reviewing the jobs for the day Retrieving all the installation materials needed and checking that the materials are loaded in the truck including: rug, pads, tackles, binding and other supplies needed Ensure that the vacuum in the truck is in working order Making sure the crew is accounted for and ready to start the job for the day Once arriving, coordinating with the owner to enter the property and inspecting the area that needs to be installed Instructing the crew members for their specific duties Removing furniture, cleaning area for installation, removing old carpet and bringing in the necessary materials Replacing the furniture in the same locations once installation is complete Updating the office with the progress of the installation before leaving the job site If any extra carpet, making sure to ask owner what should be done with it Reloading the truck at the end of the day, unloading truck once back at the shop Disposing of any scraps and trash in the proper areas Returning any leftover carpet to the shop with correct instructions

Qualifications:

Proven experience in carpet installation required Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening

Hours:

Monday through Friday – first shift The pay is $20 – $38.00 an hour based on experience
