We are looking for a skilled Floor Installer – Hard Surface to join our maintenance team and support our mission of maintaining high-quality living environments for our community.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Floor Installer to handle the installation and repair of hard surface flooring —including vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile—throughout our managed properties.

Responsibilities:

Install and repair a variety of hard surface flooring (vinyl, tile, hardwood, laminate, etc.) Prepare work areas by removing old flooring and cleaning surfaces Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials using appropriate tools Follow installation guidelines, safety standards, and building codes Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and complete projects Maintain clean and organized job sites Complete job documentation and report material usage

Requirements:

Prior experience in floor installation or similar trade work Ability to work independently and follow project specifications Proficient in using hand and power tools Physical ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work in various conditions Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must pass a background check and pre-employment physical

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus Experience in residential or public housing maintenance Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
