Their duties and responsibilities include:

Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine size, shape, color, type, and thickness of glass required.

Measuring and marking glass and cut-glass using glass cutters or other cutting tools. Installing glass panels or curtain walls on buildings using hand and power tools. Replacing damaged glass in existing structures and fixtures. Sealing and weatherproofing glass installations with caulking and sealants. Assembling and installing prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products on walls, ceilings or exteriors of building. Coordinating with other trades and professionals on construction sites. Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and building regulations. Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
