Job Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager(s) in coordinating, scheduling, and managing insulation projects from pre-construction through closeout. The selected candidate will train in our Delray Beach, FL office before transitioning to a permanent role on the west coast of Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking hands-on experience, structured mentorship, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Project Manager(s) with planning and executing projects within budget and timeline. Prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation. Coordinate with field supervisors, estimators, vendors, and clients. Track materials, delivery schedules, and job costs. Attend site visits and project meetings as needed. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and project specifications. Maintain project records and assist in billing and reporting. Learn how to perform takeoffs and assist with estimating new projects.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required). 1-3 years of construction or project coordination experience; mechanical insulation experience a plus. Familiarity with reading construction drawings and specs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); project management software experience a plus. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to train in Delray Beach and relocate to Florida’s west coast.
