Job Description
Steel Erection Field Workers Capstone Contractors, LLC Sarasota, FL 34234 Local fabrication/erection company looking for field workers. Typical work hours are M-F, 6:30AM – 3:30PM. Workers may be required to work overtime as the current workload may dictate. Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop. Must be able to show up every day and arrive to work on time. Potential employees must provide the necessary hand tools for the job. This may include but is not limited to: tool belt, bolt bags, spud wrenches, sleever bars, bull pins, 4-6lbs sledge hammer (beater), tape measure, two pairs of vice grips (11R’s), welding hood, chipping hammer, and wire brush. Must show up “ready to work.” This means being dressed for the job. Steel toe boots, long pants, T-shirt with 4″ minimum sleeves. Welders must be able to pass in-house welding test. Most to all of the work in the field is from heights. OSHA 10 (Construction) or higher is a plus. A good attitude and the ability to listen and learn is a must. Applicants whose car breaks down twice a week, doesn’t show up to work the day after payday, cannot arrive to work on time, has six grandmothers pass away in a calendar year, or no sense of humor need not apply!
