Service Technician ($2,000 Sign On Bonus)

Description:
The field service technician is responsible for providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches, managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks, and diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions. This position requires you to travel throughout country and stay overnight.
Responsibilities:
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Manage workflow to daily job goals report
- Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Document processes
- Operate vehicle in a safely manner
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Possess organizational skills
- Overnight travel throughout the country.
- Debug and problem solve in a fast paced environment
- Communicate clearly
- Understand the importance of customer service
- 70% Equipment installation
- 20% Start up/commission equipment
- 10% Service/repair equipment
- Live somewhere easily accessible to airports
- Others assigned by manager as necessary
Requirements:
- Proven field service experience
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
- Basic computer skills
- 60% overnight travel
Experience:
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to read blue prints
- Technical degree or certification
- Auto mechanic, carpenters, HVAC, engineers
