Landscape Architect Absolute Outdoor Living 4248 NW 120th Ave, Coral Springs, FL 33065 Struxure of South Floridas is a leading construction design firm specializing in innovative outdoor lifestyle solutions. We build very custom high end motorized pergola structures. We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our dynamic Sales Department, bridging design expertise with client-focused sales strategies to drive project success.
Job Summary:
The Landscape Architect in our Sales Department will combine creative landscape design skills with sales acumen to develop and pitch tailored landscape solutions to clients. You will collaborate with project managers, administrative staff and clients to create compelling proposals that align with client needs, project goals, and company standards. This role requires a blend of technical design proficiency, client relationship management, and sales-driven communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Sales Support:
Consult with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for their outdoor projects. Develop and present landscape design concepts as part of sales pitches to secure contracts. Collaborate with the sales team to create persuasive proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and design visuals.
Design Development:
Create preliminary landscape designs, site plans, and renderings using CAD, SketchUp, or similar software. Ensure designs comply with local zoning, environmental regulations, and sustainability standards. Incorporate hardscaping, softscaping, and sustainable practices into design proposals.
Project Coordination:
Work with project managers and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with project budgets and timelines. Provide technical support during the sales process to address client questions or concerns.
Market Research & Networking:
Stay updated on landscaping trends, materials, and technologies to enhance sales offerings. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build client relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field. 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture or design, preferably with sales or client-facing responsibilities. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and landscape installation techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical designs into client-friendly concepts. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and sustainable design practices. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a sales or business development role within construction or landscaping. Familiarity with CRM software for tracking client interactions.
