Landscape Designer Coastal Outdoor Services Plant City, FL 33565 • Hybrid work Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing beautiful outdoor spaces and will be responsible for developing innovative landscape designs that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, design principles, and construction practices. The Landscape Designer will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for landscape projects. Create detailed landscape designs using CAD software, or similar design software Draft plans that include plant selections, hardscape elements, irrigation systems, and lighting. Conduct site assessments and land surveying to gather necessary data for design development. Prepare construction estimates and project timelines to ensure efficient project execution. Oversee landscape maintenance plans to ensure the longevity and health of designed spaces. Utilize GIS technology to analyze site conditions and inform design decisions. Work with construction teams during the installation phase to ensure designs are executed accurately. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices in landscape architecture. Experience Proven experience in landscape design or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in CAD software, Rhinoceros 3D, MicroStation, and GIS applications is essential. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and landscape maintenance practices is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant materials, and sustainable design principles is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
