We are seeking a creative and skilled Landscape Architect to to over a Landscape Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing outdoor spaces, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of various environments. This role requires a deep understanding of landscape design, planning, and permitting processes, as well as the ability to collaborate with clients and other professionals to bring innovative designs to life. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for outdoor spaces.
Develop comprehensive landscape design plans that meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
Conduct site analysis and assess environmental factors to inform design decisions.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
Navigate the permitting process to ensure compliance with local regulations and guidelines.
Work closely with contractors and project managers during the implementation of designs.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices in landscape architecture. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
Licensed Landscape Architect certification is required.
Proven experience in landscape design and planning, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Familiarity with local zoning laws and permitting processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Benefits Full-time salary position with an expectation of a 40-hour work week
