The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and be adept at using both hand and power tools. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects, including residential and commercial properties. The Painter will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to creating aesthetically pleasing environments. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Mix and match paint colors according to color theory principles. Perform caulking and trim carpentry tasks to ensure clean lines and professional finishes. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols while working on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in remodeling projects as needed, including masonry work. Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting with a strong portfolio of completed work. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
