The purpose of this position is to have designated person to paint the facility as needed and as directed by the Plant Operations Director. This person will also be assisting our maintenance team on a daily basis.

Education:
a high school degree or equivalent The ability to: recognize and respond to the needs of residents make prompt and accurate judgements communicate a sense of caring, concern and dignity for residents
Experience:
Painter will have at least six months experience working in a senior community and/or hospital, medical facility or home health settings. Must be capable of lifting a minimum of forty pounds and be able to work in a well-lighted area that is ventilated and as physically challenging to do the essential functions of the job of a painter and maintenance person.
Job Functions:
Responsible for painting needs of all apartments, offices and common areas. Inspects all painting equipment and systems regularly for compliance with local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations. Prepare units for move-in and/or move-out in a timely manner. Attend all mandatory meetings.
