Residential and Commercial Painter Stonegate Painting Company Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107 Overview We are seeking skilled House Painters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality finishes and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working on various residential and commercial projects, including new builds and renovations. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Work with stucco and drywall to ensure seamless finishes in various environments. Collaborate with construction teams on-site to understand project schematics and specifications. Perform concrete finishing and masonry work as required for specific projects. Renovate existing structures by applying new paint or finishes to enhance aesthetic appeal. Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience in house painting or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of stucco application techniques and drywall finishing is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and ability to read schematics is a plus. Experience in masonry work is an asset but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team on construction sites.
