Painter / Bedford Care Center Monroe Hall Bedford Care Center Monroe Hall 300 Cahal Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39401 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our projects are completed with high-quality finishes and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess the ability to work collaboratively on various tasks, including carpentry and maintenance. Duties Execute painting tasks for both interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a professional finish. Perform frame carpentry tasks, including installation and repair of structures. Utilize power tools effectively and safely for various construction and maintenance projects. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and project timelines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members on various maintenance person tasks as needed. Skills Proficient in construction painting techniques, with an eye for detail. Experience in frame carpentry, with the ability to execute precise cuts and measurements. Familiarity with welding processes is a plus. Strong understanding of blueprint reading to accurately follow project plans. Knowledge of commercial painting standards and practices. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to tasks. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
