Painter/Laborer AJ’s Painting Charlestown, NH 03603 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and construction-related tasks. This role involves both residential painting and general labor duties, requiring a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Execute residential painting tasks with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes. Apply stucco and plaster as required for various projects. Utilize hand tools effectively for caulking and other construction tasks. Assist in concrete finishing work as necessary, ensuring smooth surfaces. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Understand and apply color theory to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in construction painting or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with stucco application, plastering techniques, and concrete finishing is a plus. Strong knowledge of color theory and its application in residential settings. Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
