Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Plasterer to join our team in Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will be experienced in surface preparation, painting, and plastering in both residential and commercial settings. Candidates must be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting or plastering (scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, etc.) Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns Perform all aspects of plastering, including patchwork, skimming, and creating smooth or textured finishes Repair and restore walls, ceilings, and other surfaces Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Protect furniture, floors, and other surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape Mix and match paint or plaster materials to achieve desired results Inspect and ensure quality of finished work

Qualifications:

2+ years of professional painting and plastering experience Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings (preferred) Excellent attention to detail and workmanship Physically fit and able to stand, lift, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred) OSHA certification a plus If interested to know more call Franklin Rooney at 281-819-0452 |
