Lead Painter/Supervisor J.W.Wolfe Painting, LLC 205 Fox Rd, Lebanon, PA 17042 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and construction, with the ability to lead projects and manage a team effectively. This role involves overseeing painting operations, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining safety standards on the job site. The Lead Painter will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to various construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed to specifications and within deadlines. Responsibilities Lead and supervise painting projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate schedules and project timelines. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; perform minor repairs as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations on the construction site. Train and mentor junior painters in techniques and best practices. Assist in fixture installation as required by specific projects. Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality control. Skills Proficient in blueprint reading for accurate project execution. Strong knowledge of various painting techniques and materials. Experience with power tools and masonry work is a plus. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within a team environment. Familiarity with construction estimating processes. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on restoring surfaces to their original condition. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
