The ideal candidate will have experience in erecting metal structures and possess a strong understanding of construction practices. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with various tools and equipment. The Metal Building Erector will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Erect metal building frames, ensuring proper alignment and structural integrity. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as required for lifting and positioning materials. Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for foundations and supports. Utilize power tools for cutting, shaping, and fastening materials. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project requirements. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining safety standards. Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and project timelines. Requirements Proven experience as a Metal Building Erector or similar role in the construction industry. Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation. Familiarity with concrete finishing techniques is preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment safely is a plus. Proficiency with power tools and hand tools used in construction. Knowledge of frame carpentry principles and practices. Ability to plumb structures accurately during installation. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with erecting metal buildings.
