Ocala, FL General Job Description:
Job Summary:

The Service Technician will perform Hot checks and service calls. Must be able to troubleshoot accurately and efficiently.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:

Ensuring homeowner calls are met in a timely manner Complete all work at homeowners’ homes in a neat and workmanlike manner. Responsible for correcting any issues for homeowners that are listed on their work ticket. Ensuring all homes, we enter are left clean of all debris, material etc. Ability to navigate situations with homeowners and deescalate situations with dissatisfies customers by reassuring the homeowner that we are doing the best we can to provide the service needed. Must be available during the required on-call for after hour emergency service on a rotating schedule with the other service techs. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Electrical trade knowledge for all aspects of residential electric. Ability to read prints and scale to ensure placement of fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc. Excellent communication skills including active listening and attentiveness. Service-Oriented and able to resolve customer grievances. Must have time management skills, organizational skills, multitasking skills, and detailed oriented. Be able to stay focused on task and have the ability to work well under pressure.

Education and Experience:

Previous experience in all phases of residential electricity.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times. Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Must be able to work in confined spaces Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time. Must have clean driving record.
