Roofer Best JC Contractors LLC 45 Sicklerville Road, Williamstown, NJ 08094 Overview We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to restore, fabricate, and build various roofing structures. This role requires proficiency in blueprint reading and frame carpentry, as well as experience with power tools and heavy lifting. A maintenance person mindset is essential for tackling various tasks associated with roofing projects. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles. Restore existing roofing systems to extend their lifespan and improve functionality. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. Perform frame carpentry tasks related to roof structures, ensuring stability and durability. Fabricate roofing components as needed for custom projects. Utilize power tools safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks. Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards. Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required throughout the job site. Assist with drywall installation when necessary, contributing to overall project completion. Experience Proven experience in roofing or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading is essential for understanding project plans. Experience in frame carpentry will be considered an asset. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively is required. Must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities. A maintenance person background is beneficial for addressing various tasks that may arise on the job site.
