Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial and Residential Roofer to join our team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on commercial buildings and residential homes. This is a physically demanding role that requires expertise in various roofing techniques and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Install new roofs using a variety of materials such as shingles, metal and single-ply membranes
• Repair damaged roofs by replacing shingles, tiles, or other roofing components
• Apply waterproofing materials to ensure the integrity of the roof
• Fabricate and install metal flashings and trim to provide a weatherproof seal
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install roofing materials
• Perform masonry work to repair chimneys or other brickwork on the roof
• Lay tiles or shingles in an overlapping pattern for proper water drainage
• Install insulation and vapor barriers to improve energy efficiency
• Conduct regular maintenance on roofs to prevent leaks or other issues
• Perform job safely upholding OSHA rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License and able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Willing to learn and not afraid of heights
• Experience as a Commercial Roofer or similar role in the construction industry is a plus
• Knowledge of different roofing systems and materials is a plus
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
