$20+ per hour (Based on experience) Position Summary As a Sheet Metal Repair Technician, you’ll be on the front lines delivering critical service and repair solutions to our customers. Whether addressing warranty issues or taking on new material installs, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing problems, executing high-quality installations and ensuring you and your team lead are equipped to perform predetermined scopes of work safely and timely. Key Responsibilities Customer Repairs & Warranty Service Respond to team lead requests and service requests for past and current jobs Perform repairs on shingle, metal, and all types of flashings Repair or replace roof components such as flashing, valleys, ridges, and pipe boots Assist with loading and unloading of roofs and jobsites as directed by team lead New Service Work Install gutters, downspouts, skylights, and chimney flashing as needed Document work completed and update service tickets with job notes and photos Teamwork & Jobsite Excellence Follow Production and Operations teams to ensure metal work are completed in according to schedule Maintain a clean and safe job site, following company and OSHA safety guidelines Proactively report material needs, safety concerns, or customer issues to team lead Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in roofing, service, or residential construction preferred Proficient with asphalt shingles; working knowledge of metal and flat roofing a plus Comfortable working at heights and on varying roof pitches with safety equipment Basic carpentry and gutter installation experience Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly and work in a physically demanding role Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Be proficient to maneuver a medium duty truck (F450) around Nashville safely Schedule Full-time, typically 6am-4pm Occasional early mornings, late evenings, or weekend work depending on service needs Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Referral and employee discount programs Supportive, team-focused work environment About Don Kennedy Roofing Don Kennedy Roofing is a trusted provider of residential and commercial roofing and exterior solutions, committed to delivering top-tier craftsmanship and a superior customer experience.
