Business Analyst Job Opportunity in Jersey City,NJ! Are you Interested in an exciting career opportunity with aFortune 50 company! Then this is the JOB for you! Modis is looking for a functional BA, not a technical BA With good communication skills Strong understanding of IT budgets, and creating budgets andforecasts. This person must be able to meet aggressive deadlines. Prepare the Annual Budget and Forecast as required. Provide SeniorIT Management with monthly management reports and varianceanalysis. Responsible for the integrity of the monthly allocationof IT, Data Center and Amortization costs. Lead the month endclosing process and review month end project cost reports. Interactwith Project Managers and Senior Information Officers to facilitatetheir ad hoc requests. Manage project level cost results and insureadherence to internal accounting policies. Recommend and leadmodification to the systems which support budget development, costforecasting, project accounting sub-ledger, etc.. Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and SOP98-1 Capitalizationguidelines and ensure compliance.
Skills/Experience required:
Strong financial analytical abilities with accountingknowledge Prior experience with information technology financeand/or knowledge of project management concepts a plus Microsoft Office Products (Strong Excel/PowerPointskills) Detailed oriented and ability to work independently andwith other co-workers Excellent communication skills, oral and written andCustomer focused Masters in Finance or Business Administrationpreferred
