Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Business analyst with Linux OS migration skills and experience in access management and system migration. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, design, and implement secure and efficient user access practices in Linux environments. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Linux engineers and support teams to assess current sudo and root access practices.
Engage with users and managers across technology and business units to evaluate elevated access requirements.
Partner with security architects to design a future-state access management model for Linux environments.
Lead the full remediation process including discovery, analysis, planning, scheduling, testing, and validation.
Communicate access management policies and procedures effectively to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices throughout the remediation process.
Required Qualifications:
6-10 years of hands-on experience managing, supporting, and troubleshooting complex Linux environments.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve system issues in production and enterprise settings.
Deep understanding of Linux architecture, including kernel, libraries, file systems, and process management.
Strong knowledge of user/group management, permissions, and system hardening.
Experience with system migration projects (3-4 years).
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong task management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CyberArk, Centrify, and Ansible.
Business analysis experience related to access management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
