Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inquisitive Senior Business Reporting Analyst with a proven track record of partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, user-friendly, and impactful reporting solutions. This role will focus on gathering reporting requirements, analyzing data, and designing visually compelling dashboards tailored to diverse business units in the finance industry. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical background, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills, along with hands-on experience in tools such as Power BI and SQL. Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Lead brainstorming sessions and drive requirements-gathering discussions with cross-functional teams.
Translate business reporting needs into clear, actionable technical specifications for BI developers.
Collaborate with BI developers to design and deliver intuitive, visually engaging dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
Promote and implement effective data pipeline and reporting practices with a continuous improvement mindset. Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
Demonstrated success in developing and delivering visually engaging Power BI and Paginated Reports.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with executive audiences.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and adjust to changing priorities. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the finance or private equity industry.
Familiarity with Tableau and Microsoft cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric, ADLS, SQL MI).
Power BI or equivalent certifications.
Project management experience.
Proven ability to thrive in uncertain or dynamic environments while building cross-functional consensus.
