Description:

 Strategy & Operations Senior Associate, New Verticals, Doordash, Inc., New York, NY. Support and manage the growth of select DashMart Warehouse as a Service (WaaS) initiatives by scoping, launching, and managing the performance of a number of strategic projects. Build and scale new ways to delight our customers and our merchant partners, leveraging DoorDash platform capabilities. Optimize opportunities to maintain new customer activation & growth goals through strong partnership with product, engineering, supply chain, category management, operations and marketing teams to support the successful deployment and scale of our strategies. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow our customer and merchant base by shaping the business strategy, and activating the playbook for launching and scaling growth initiatives. Conduct ongoing user research to contextualize data and develop a deeper understanding of customer pain points and identify opportunities to accelerate customer acquisition. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, validate hypotheses, report on test results, and deliver actionable insights that will impact the business. Study and analyze information to identify growth opportunities and craft/execute strategic initiatives while gaining buy-in from various stakeholders and leadership. Observe current operations, gathering and analyzing information about how to improve business practices and realize efficiencies. Telecommuting permitted. Salary Range:

$92,000 – $138,000/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in banking, consulting, business operations/strategy, or related occupation.

Qualifying experience must include at least five (5) of the following skills (which may be gained concurrently): Translating high-level goals into actionable plans; Developing business strategy or pitch materials in Powerpoint/Google Slides; Building models to evaluate the costs and benefits of different projects and experiments; Partnering with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Supply Chain, Category Management, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to implement and develop business strategies; Analyzing business metrics, including metric development, threshold setting, or geographic localization; Developing models to understand and predict business trends from a combination of proprietary data and industry benchmarks; Financial modeling and reporting in Excel/Google Sheets; and Business Intelligence (BI) or analytics & visualization tools such as Mode, Sigma, Excel.

Up to 10% domestic travel based on business need.
