Requirements:

At least 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems in the purchasing function Experience in managing supplier relationships

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare, release, and follow up on purchase orders and confirmations for plant supplies, capital equipment, inventory items, and consumables Confers with suppliers concerning deliveries and receipt issues and corrects when needed Responsible for managing the open purchase order report and correcting purchasing order variances Assist Materials Control Manager in new vendor selection and vendor quality audits Responsible for daily updates to management Aids in meeting annual cost savings and assists in setting up stop limits and Kanban setups Manage deliveries from other facilities and international shipments Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision.
