- Supports site manager(s) by handling clerical duties and route assignments as needed
- Tracks and audits delivery teams utilizing dispatching software platform
- Ensures compliance with contract delivery standards Duties Acts as main communication point for delivery teams, contract owners, and client during the delivery day Responsible for accurately documenting delivery stop information, route assignments, and billing information Audits stop data for compliance with client expectations and communicates deficiencies to delivery teams Provides scheduled updates on route status throughout the delivery day Follows up with customers by making call-behinds and logging call data Charts KPI’s as needed and provides delivery performance reports as appropriate Provides facility coverage, oversees daily product and paperwork returns process for compliance Promote both company’s and client’s culture, mission, values, policies and procedures
Dispatch Operations:
Schedule and dispatch delivery orders to drivers based on customer requests, urgency, and route efficiency.
Route Planning:
Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure timely deliveries.
Communication:
Maintain constant communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams to coordinate deliveries, provide updates, and address any issues or changes.
Customer Service:
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing timely updates on delivery statuses.
Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor delivery progress, track shipments, and update systems with accurate information on delivery times and any deviations from planned routes.
Problem Solving:
Quickly resolve any logistical problems that may arise during delivery operations, such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, or route changes.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to deliveries, driver schedules, and customer interactions.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to transportation, safety, and customer service.
