8 2.8 out of 5 stars Tampa, FL 33610 Stepp’s Towing and Heavy Transport is looking for a Call Taker which is a front-line position that can be developed into a dispatcher. This position requires effective and timely communication directly with incoming phone calls, accurately processing and entering call information into the dispatch software system, while also delivering a high level of customer service to all phone inquiries. Please DO NOT apply if you’re looking for a remote position, unable to work the hours as described, or unable to pass a drug test and background check.

Essential Functions:

Receive and promptly answer emergency and non-emergency calls. Gather all required and pertinent information: Name and phone number, disablement location and drop address, vehicle info, cause of breakdown, etc. Perform duties of the Dispatcher Assistant in their absence as directed.
