The Dispatcher plays a critical role in the coordination and execution of last mile delivery operations. They are responsible for assigning delivery routes, dispatching drivers efficiently, and ensuring timely package deliveries to customers. The dispatcher monitors driver progress, addresses any route delays or issues, and maintains constant communication with the delivery team to provide real-time support. Additionally, they update delivery logs, optimize daily schedules, and ensure compliance with company policies and customer service standards. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential in this fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within a dispatch or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of last mile delivery practices and operation. Excellent phone etiquette with strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Ability to analyze data effectively to make informed decisions regarding dispatch operations. Familiarity with GPS technology and its application in transportation logistics. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
