Position Overview:

As a Dispatcher/Office Clerk at Bob’s Barricades, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient dispatch of drivers delivering and setting up maintenance of traffic equipment, including barrels, cones, signs, and other essential tools for lane closures. Additionally, you will handle customer orders received through phone or email, creating service tickets and dispatching them to our dedicated team of drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently dispatch drivers for equipment delivery and setup to support construction projects. Take customer orders via phone and email, ensuring accurate and timely communication. Generate and manage service tickets for maintenance of traffic services. Collaborate with the office manager to streamline administrative functions. Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally. Maintain accurate records of dispatched orders, service tickets, and driver activities.

Requirements:

Previous experience in dispatching or office administration is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in using email and office software. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
