We’re seeking a motivated, high-energy HVAC Service Dispatcher who can skillfully manage the delicate balance between customer service, technician support, and dispatching logistics.

What You’ll Do:

Be the primary point of contact for our customers, delivering excellent service and resolving their HVAC service needs efficiently. Communicate with customers to determine their service requirements and relay information to technicians using GPS tracking and dispatching software. Maintain accurate and detailed customer repair records in our system to ensure a thorough service history. Prepare and maintain the optimal daily route for technicians, ensuring maximum efficiency and prioritizing emergency services. Support service technicians by managing their schedules, coordinating on-call rotations, and facilitating smooth transitions between jobs. Handle a multi-line phone system and perform general administrative tasks, including filing, sorting, and assisting in customer service roles. Assist in preparing estimates and invoices, proofreading for accuracy, and entering work orders.

Table:

2+ years of experience in customer service or dispatching, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical concepts. Excellent communication skills with a professional and courteous phone manner. Strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with GPS tracking and dispatching software. Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail. Ability to manage high-stress situations with ease and make quick judgment calls. High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus. Why Ocean State Air Solutions?
