Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. If you are detail-oriented, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain and repair facility equipment and systems
• Assist Facilities Supervisor in completing a multitude of tasks, including but not limited to stripping and waxing floors, painting, small drywall repairs, pressure washing, and basic handyman duties.
• Assist in supervising maintenance projects
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure facility safety and compliance
• Cleaning classrooms and facilities on a daily basis (shared responsibilities with other team members)

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

• Strong background in facilities maintenance
• Proficiency in mechanical knowledge
• Ability to work well with others and follow directions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
