The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials and products efficiently within our distribution center. A strong emphasis will be placed on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure smooth operations. Duties Efficiently transports materials and supplies to designated areas within the warehouse or production floor. Monitor inventory levels and restock items as necessary to maintain optimal workflow. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and deep reach trucks safely and effectively. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Package products for shipment, ensuring quality standards are met. Collaborate with team members to identify needs for materials and address any supply shortages promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is required. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) required. Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts safely. Strong physical stamina with the capability to perform lifting 40 lbs. materials regularly. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Be able to perform cycle counts. Previous experience with SAP systems is advantageous but not required.
