Forklift Operator Golden Technologies, Inc. 1112 Inkerman Rd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to accomplish various materials handling assignments. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols is essential for this role. Responsibilities Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas. Obtains production schedule and/or shipping orders and then identifies, verifies, and transports requested raw materials, finished goods, equipment, or processing materials accordingly. Use RF scanner to move products, in computer system, from one area to another. Uses protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads; once delivered, removes strapping and wrapping, then safely disposes of waste materials in designated containers or areas. Reports any problems with materials or transportation to supervisor. Manages and piles drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas. Services equipment as needed, reporting mechanical or electrical difficulties to supervisor. Performs other related duties as requested. Trains new employees Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution center setting. Familiarity with various types of forklifts. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 40 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
