Forklift Operator Position Available In Monroe, Pennsylvania

Forklift Operator Bestway of PA, Inc. 115 Bestway Drive, Cresco, PA 18326 Bestway of Pennsylvania, Inc.—a wholesale lumber pressure-treater and building products distributor—is hiring a Forklift Operator to work on our production pad in Cresco, PA. The forklift operator will be responsible for the safe operation of a diesel forklift in an outdoor environment in a confined area, along with tagging lumber at a very fast pace. Responsibilities and Duties Forklift Operators must safely operate a diesel lift with a two-stage mast. Operators must perform daily inspections of their lift to ensure safe working order and document and report any problems. Operators are responsible for loading and unloading production tram, staging materials in a fairly confined area, then removing material to final storage. Operator must quickly and repeatedly tag material with proper identification throughout the shift. Operators may be required to unload railcars safely and efficiently. This will involve accessing the car, un-cabling it, removing tarps, and removing units of lumber from it. Operators may be responsible for loading building products onto flatbed trailers for transport from our yard in a legal, and safe manner. Operators are responsible for maintaining correct counts and descriptions of material and inventory and communicating these counts to office personnel. Operators will also be required to regularly and repeatedly lift 50-70 pounds. Operators are required to maintain a neat and orderly work area. Prior forklift experience required.
